Summit Mountain Challenge 2026

The Summit Mountain Challenge is a six-race summer mountain bike series held on the trails of Summit County, Colorado, from May through August. Races take place on Wednesday evenings and offer long, short, and kids course options, accommodating strong riders, newer racers, and families. The riding features fast trails and significant climbs, concluding with the Breckenridge Classic. Participants competing for overall standings must complete five of the six races on the same course length. Breckenridge Recreation now manages the series, having acquired it from Jeff Wescott of Maverick Sports Promotions, maintaining the emphasis on affordable, organized local racing and a community atmosphere.
