Twilight 12K 2026

Twilight 12K is an evening run and walk in Anchorage with 6K and 12K options, starting downtown at 8th & H St. The 6K goes off at 7:00 p.m. and the 12K follows at 7:05, which fits the name: this is built around Alaska’s long late-spring daylight rather than an early-morning race routine. There is also a virtual 6K and 12K option for runners who want the distance without joining the in-person start line. The route closes the A/C St bridge, loops around Government Hill, then moves through Downtown Anchorage, the Coastal Trail, and Westchester Lagoon before finishing at the Rose Garden on the Park Strip. Bands play along the course, and the finish area leans into the Friday-night setup with music, Bear Tooth food, and a Broken Tooth beverage included for participants. Runners also get a race shirt, with running trucker hats offered as an add-on.
