White Elephant 2026

The White Elephant is a holiday 5K road race and 1 Mile fun run held in Fayetteville, Arkansas. Both the 5K and the 1 Mile run begin and end on the Fayetteville Square. The race commences at 8 a.m. The 5K is open to both runners and walkers, accommodating individuals, families, and those seeking a brief holiday activity over a competitive race. The Square serves as the backdrop, connecting the event with Lights of the Ozarks. Holiday music, caroling, and Santa Claus are featured during the morning. The White Elephant theme introduces lighthearted surprises, reflecting the "you never know what you will get" concept, where one person's unwanted item becomes another's find. Registration provides a long-sleeve shirt, a finisher medal, and access to photo downloads. Packet pickup is managed by Fayetteville Parks, with race-day pickup available at the Fayetteville Town Center.
