Treggy 7

Treggy 7 is a 7-mile road race in Launceston, Cornwall. It begins in the town square and concludes within the grounds of Launceston Castle. Launceston Road Runners organize the event, which attracts a significant local participation, with close to 370 runners in the most recent report. The route offers participants a swift downhill first mile. It then transitions to a rolling path, including a half-mile ascent to Tregadillett, known by runners as “That Hill.” Club members attend in groups; for instance, 41 runners came from Hayle. The Hayle women’s team secured second place overall, while their men’s teams achieved second and third positions. Additionally, several Hayle runners earned distinctions within their age groups.
