Viridian Daventry Triathlon 2026

The Viridian Daventry Triathlon begins with 16 lengths in the 25m pool at Daventry Leisure Centre, followed by a sprint-distance race in Northamptonshire. The event comprises a 400m swim, 20km bike, and 5km run, with options for individual and relay participation. Rugby Triathlon Club is the organiser, supported by sponsors Viridian Nutrition and Sheaf Street Health Store. The bike route consists of a single 20km lap through the local countryside. The run is a 5km lap around Daventry Country Park, with road closures implemented near the finish line. This format is suitable for novice triathletes because of the pool-based swim and length-counting assistance. However, the course records of 55:04 for men and 1:03:55 for women indicate that experienced competitors also participate. All finishers will receive a medal, and age-category prizes will be presented. The Viridian Gold Team invitational introduces a club competition alongside the primary race.
