Penguin Race 3 marks the third event in the North West Trail Running Series, guiding participants into The Dial Range near Penguin after sunset. This trail run offers three distance options: 18 km for the long course, 12 km for the medium course, and 4.6 km for the short course. Staggered evening starts are scheduled, beginning with the long course, followed by the medium, and then the short. The headlamp is a required item, as the primary objective of this race is to navigate the trails at night, but not in isolation.
