degewo-Schülertriathlon

The degewo-Schülertriathlon is a student triathlon held at the degewo-Stadion in Neukölln, Berlin. Children and young people compete in three straightforward disciplines: running, swimming, and cycling. It is designed for students, not adults, and primarily aims to offer them an opportunity to sample multiple sports within a single event. TOP Sportmarketing and degewo are the organizers, with Martin Seeber having been involved for over ten years. Seeber notes that the three-sport format distinguishes the day for many children and teenagers. The event experienced a pause because of the pandemic, including one cancellation and a temporary degewo movement challenge as a replacement, but organizers believed these alternative formats could not substitute for the actual student triathlon.
