Ostsee Triathlon Dierhagen is an evening triathlon in Ostseebad Dierhagen, a Baltic Sea resort in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern. The race begins at 6:00 PM in late June and is conducted as an “Evening-Session,” with the organizer ensuring every athlete finishes before sunset. The event features a sprint triathlon for individual participants, a relay option, and a standard triathlon race.
The sprint distance covers 750 meters swimming, 23 kilometers cycling, and 5.7 kilometers running. A unique offering is the Klassik Rennen, where participants compete in an old-school format: no wetsuit, frame-shifted gears on the bicycle, and no one-piece suits. The event caters to regular athletes as well as competitive racers, with the organizer emphasizing personal challenge over finishing time.
