Carrera Popular Villa de Aranjuez 2026

The Carrera Popular Villa de Aranjuez is a 10 km race held annually in Aranjuez, part of the Madrid region of Spain, during December. This event has a history spanning over forty years, maintaining its place within the local road-running tradition, distinct from an elite-focused competition. Club Marathon Aranjuez is responsible for organizing the race, in addition to its efforts to promote athletics among adults and children. The club operates an athletics school with over a hundred students yearly, also organizes the Trail El Peluca event, and has sustained the Villa de Aranjuez race for multiple generations of runners. CaixaBank serves as the primary sponsor, having supported the event in recent years.
