The Tour de France is a three-week WorldTour bicycle race held in July, featuring riders competing stage by stage over a varied course. This edition begins in Barcelona, concludes in Paris, and spans 3,333 km. It commences with a team time trial, a format not seen as the opening stage since the early 1970s.
The initial stages take place in northern Spain for three days, including Barcelona and the ascent of Montjuïc. The race then proceeds through France towards the Paris finish line. Tadej Pogačar was the winner of the last edition, and UAE Team Emirates secured the team classification. Complementing the race, the Tour designates a “Cycle city of the Tour de France,” with 203 cities holding this designation. Its extended program also incorporates fan initiatives such as the TDF Club and a Tour de France Kahoot! Cup.
