East Rochester HS Track hosts a competitive mile event with heats structured for various performance levels. Heats include "Open Elite Men - Sub 5 minutes", "Open Elite Women - Sub 6:15 minutes", and "Masters Elite Women - Sub 7:45 minutes". Leone Timing provides electronic timing. A $500 bonus awaits the male winner who breaks 4 minutes and the female winner who breaks 4:30. Elite and Masters runners compete for cash prizes. All finishers receive Charlie McMullen Certificates. Younger participants can join the "Kids Sub-4 race" for ribbons and popsicles.
