Cobb's Hill Park hosts a cross country race suitable for all, particularly younger runners. Free, untimed Kid's Fun Runs feature a "50 meter final stretch run for younger kids," a "1/4 mile loop around the field," and a "1/2 mile loop around the field." Parents may run with their children, and spectators are encouraged to cheer. All children receive a ribbon and a popsicle. The IEXC Race Series event, free for those under 18, runs through grass and trails marked with flags.
