Love Hard 5k Fun Run

The Love Hard 5k Fun Run is a June charity series offering in-person 5Ks in Boston, Chicago, San Diego, Denver, Grand Rapids, London, and St. Louis, along with a virtual option completable anywhere during the month. The focus is on supporting families grieving the loss of a child, rather than racing speed, and participants are encouraged to run, walk, skip, or jump the distance. The series was established by the Kamins family to honor Cash, who passed away unexpectedly at age two, with the run coinciding with his birthday. Funds raised benefit the UnbridledACTS Love Hard community, providing financial aid, all-expense-paid healing retreats, and accessible grief counseling for families. The event aims to raise $50,000, features individual and team fundraisers, and allows local groups to convene in person while accommodating virtual participants joining from home.
