O wyścigu
Luton Park Time Trial is a solo mountain bike race at Luton Park in Rockford, Michigan, with each rider racing the clock instead of starting in a pack. It is built around an approximately 8-mile singletrack loop, and the lap count depends on category: Expert and Elite riders do three laps, Sport riders do two, and Beginners do one.
The course is hard-packed and quick, but it still asks for bike handling through technical sections and steady work on moderate climbs. The format is a full-gas effort to decide the day's KOM or QOM, and all proceeds go to the Pitt Hopkins Research Foundation. CareLinc presents the event.
