Run for the Cure 2026

The Run for the Cure begins and ends at Radnor High School in Wayne, Pennsylvania, offering a 5K run and a 1.5-mile walk on the same morning. The 5K starts first, with the walk beginning shortly after; both events have the same registration fee. This breast cancer fundraiser proceeds regardless of weather, directing all funds to breastcancer.org. Runners complete two laps of the course, while walkers complete one, simplifying the format for families, newcomers, and supporters. Strollers are permitted, and leashed dogs in good behavior are welcome. Participants have the option to dedicate their race to an individual fighting breast cancer, with honorees' names shown on a ribbon. The event originated from a high school English assignment, motivated by a Radnor teacher's recovery from breast cancer. The organization now also organizes lacrosse clinics, yoga sessions, restaurant fundraisers, and collaborations with local businesses coinciding with the race.
