Summit Mountain Challenge 2027

Summit Mountain Challenge is a summer mountain bike race and ride series on the trails of Summit County, Colorado. The schedule runs on Wednesday evenings from May through August, with six races and course choices for long, short, and kids divisions. The series concludes with the Breckenridge Classic, the final event on the calendar. Riders aiming for the overall series title must complete five of the six races on the same course length. Breckenridge Recreation manages the series, having taken it over from Jeff Wescott of Maverick Sports Promotions, continuing his emphasis on affordable, well-organized local racing. Because the routes use mountain trails in the White River National Forest under a USDA Forest Service permit, races may be delayed, canceled, or rescheduled due to weather or trail conditions.
