Summit Mountain Challenge 2027

Summit Mountain Challenge is a Wednesday evening mountain bike series on the trails of Summit County, Colorado. It runs each summer from May to August, with six races scheduled from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM and long, short, and kids course options. The riding is built around fast trails and big climbs, and the series finishes with the Breckenridge Classic. Racers chasing the overall standings need to ride five of the six races on the same course length. Breckenridge Recreation now runs the series after acquiring it from Jeff Wescott of Maverick Sports Promotions, keeping the focus on fun, affordable, well-organized community racing under a USDA Forest Service permit in White River National Forest.
