The Resolution Run 5K 2027

The Resolution Run 5K is a New Year race format with community runs in locations like Perryville, Maryland, and State College, Pennsylvania. The Perryville event starts at Perryville Park near the Chesapeake Bay and includes a certified 5K, a 1-mile fun run/walk, and a virtual 5K, with professional chip timing and onsite parking. The State College event is part of First Night State College, presented by Mount Nittany Health, and routes runners and walkers around streets on the Penn State campus. The Perryville race simplifies race morning: packet pickup is under the Bateman Pavilion, early registrants receive a shirt and medal, and the event may sell out before race day. In State College, the Nittany Valley Running Club assists in producing the race, Runner’s High manages chip timing, and costumes are encouraged. Walkers begin behind runners and use sidewalks, which keeps the campus route suitable for both faster runners and those treating it as a New Year walk.
