Titletown Turkey Trot 2026

The Titletown Turkey Trot begins Thanksgiving morning at Millennium Park in Danville, Kentucky, billed as the town's largest race. It offers two events: a chip-timed 5K run/walk with overall and age-group awards, and an untimed 1-mile Gobble Wobble for a short walk or easy jog. The event accommodates runners seeking results and families, welcoming walkers, children, strollers, and pets. The course follows paved trails within a closed route at Millennium Park. All finishers receive a commemorative medal, and participants get Titletown-branded cold-weather gear like a beanie or ear warmers. The morning also features free race photos, a Thanksgiving photo setup, the Titletown turkey mascot, music, food and coffee trucks, games, a bounce house, free popcorn, and cotton candy. The race benefits the Danville-Boyle County Shop with a Cop program, aiming to raise $3,000. The prior edition attracted over 300 runners.
