Turkey Shuffle - San Antonio

The Turkey Shuffle - San Antonio is a Thanksgiving morning 5K run and walk. It starts at 622 S. Flores Street, with the race beginning at 8:30 a.m. This chip-timed event directly supports the San Antonio Food Bank: each registration provides a turkey for a family facing hunger. Fundraising efforts can convert each dollar into 10 pounds of food or 7 meals. The event welcomes more than just serious runners. Families, children, pets, teams, walkers, and virtual participants are all encouraged to join. Runners receive custom tech shirts. The first 7,000 finishers will get medals. Overall winners are scored by gun time, and age-group awards are given three deep in five-year divisions.
