9 Locks Challenge 10K Winter 2026

The 9 Locks Challenge 10K: Winter is a traffic-free canal run from Stourbridge toward Merry Hill, following the Delph Locks. It starts at the Bonded Warehouse in Stourbridge, finishes at the Brierley Hop House, and uses chip timing. Coach transport is provided from the finish area back to the start area. The route runs along the Stourbridge Town Arm from Amblecote, turns onto the Stourbridge Canal near Ashwood Park Primary School, and continues through Hawbush past The Wordsley School. It then goes into Buckpool Nature Reserve, loops onto the Stourbridge Extension Canal, returns to meet the Town Canal, crosses Moor Street around the 4-mile point, and passes Waterside Business Park into Brierley Hill before reaching Merry Hill.
