Sobre esta prova
ATW St Albans New Year’s Eve 10K is a 10K run based in Highfield Park, St Albans, with the start and finish in the park. It is built around an end-of-year run rather than a formal championship feel: runners can chase a fast time on a mostly flat, mostly traffic-free route, then finish with snacks, goodies, a medal, free event photos, and a glass of celebratory fizz.
The course is one single lap, heading out on the flat, tree-lined Alban Way, a disused railway line that runs towards Hatfield, before looping through Sleapshyde and returning along the same path. Most of the surface is tarmac, with a grass finish field at the end. Families can join in through a free children’s fun run just before the 10K, and supporters have live music, a bar, and refreshments from the Cow Juice Coffee van while they wait.
