Sobre esta prova
The MBNA Chester 10K is Chester’s only city-based 10K, offering a city-centre race-day atmosphere with a finish on Eastgate Street beneath the Eastgate Clock. This fast road race begins on Nuns Road, adjacent to Chester Racecourse. It is suitable for new runners and those using the 10K distance as preparation for a half marathon.
The route proceeds north-west from the city on wide roads, passing near Mollington before returning to central Chester. It goes by the Victorian town hall and the medieval cathedral. As the first event in the Chester Triple Series, runners aiming for the Triple Medal often start their series here. The event typically sells out and brings together first-time participants, club runners, and local spectators in the heart of Chester.
