Sobre esta prova
The Mt. Fuji Marathon is a two-day running event held in Fujikawaguchiko, Yamanashi. The race course incorporates views of Mt. Fuji and the surrounding lakes, Kawaguchi and Saiko. Day one offers shorter, more relaxed options: a 4 km or 8 km Fuji View Run and a Fuji View Walk. Day two features the main racing events: a full marathon with completion support, a 17 km loop around Lake Kawaguchi, and a 10.5 km charity fun run.
The course provides runners with continuous views of Mt. Fuji as it winds through the lake district at the mountain's base. This setup accommodates both dedicated marathoners and participants seeking shorter runs or walks. The event is presented as a race for international participants, alongside a specific entry category for local residents. Students receive discounts for the full marathon and 8 km run. Entries are processed on a first-come, first-served basis, and TATTA team members gain access to free online training sessions prior to race weekend.
