Sobre esta prova
W rytmie serca na piątkę is a free 5 km social run beside Zalew Nowohucki in Krakow, built around paired participation. Runners with and without disabilities enter together, and each pair shares one starting number as a simple symbol that they are doing the event side by side. The run is open to the public and welcomes a wide age range, from children to seniors.
The course is a short 5 km route at the Nowa Huta reservoir, so the focus is less on racing fast and more on joining in. Fundacja 4 Alternatywy organizes the event, which began from an initiative by Fundacja W Rytmie Tańca. The program adds dance and family activities around the run, and its main purpose is practical inclusion: bringing disabled and non-disabled participants into the same event, encouraging movement, and creating cooperation across generations.
