48th Annual Jack Gamble Melon Run 2026

Gainesville’s Fourth of July Tradition. This festive, fun, and slightly hilly run is as much a part of July 4th as BBQ and fireworks. Tackle a rolling course, then enjoy watermelon at the finish. There's a free ½-mile kids run and crowning of the Melon Run King and Queen. The 48th Annual Jack Gamble Melon Run brings runners of all ages together for a holiday kick-off.
