Covered Bridge Bicycle Tour 2026

The Covered Bridge Bicycle Tour is a one-day cycling event on the backroads of Linn County, in Oregon's central Willamette Valley. Participants select from 23, 44, 68, 85, or 100 miles, accommodating a relaxed family ride, a long club outing, or a full century on the same day. The Mid-Valley Bicycle Club organizes this tour, which has been held since the late 1970s. The routes traverse rural roads through open fields and gentle rolling hills, featuring few traffic-light stops and up to five historic covered bridges. Rest stops, food, and SAG support are provided, and riders conclude the event with the traditional root beer float. A portion of each entry fee benefits Bicycle Education & Safety programs, giving the day a local purpose beyond the ride itself.
