Mille Lacs Area Fun Run 2026

The Mille Lacs Area Fun Run begins and ends at the Isle Fire Department in Isle, Minnesota, located approximately 90 miles north of the Twin Cities. This community race offers a timed 5K walk/run, a timed 10K run, and an untimed 1-mile walk, all commencing at 8:00 a.m. The Isle Fire Department Relief Association supports this event, which proceeds regardless of weather conditions. Participants park at Isle Elementary and take buses to the start line, returning to 5th Avenue South near the fire department for the finish. Awards are presented to the top three male and female finishers in each age category for the 5K and 10K races. The 1-mile walk does not use bibs or timing. Registration includes a T-shirt, subject to availability. Post-race amenities include water, fruit, cold washcloths, and cookies. A free 1-mile kids' color run is also scheduled during the weekend, near the old football field and Isle Days events.
