Summit Mountain Challenge 2027

The Summit Mountain Challenge is a Wednesday evening mountain bike series held in Breckenridge, Colorado, featuring races on trails throughout Summit County. It takes place during the summer, from late May until mid-August, typically offering six races with long, short, and kids course options. The series concludes with the Breckenridge Classic and also features events like the Aspen Attack. Participants aiming for an overall series standing must compete in five of the six events on the same course category. Breckenridge Recreation now manages the series, having taken over from Jeff Wescott of Maverick Sports Promotions. The events are conducted under a USDA Forest Service permit within the White River National Forest.
