The Damascus Mile 2026

The Damascus Mile is a one-mile race in Damascus, Maryland, held in July and based around 26400 Woodfield Road. It is a short community run through the heart of town, open to adults and children, with proceeds supporting a local cause. The event draws runners, walkers, and families with children rather than only serious racers. A past participant noted easy online registration and check-in, Montgomery County Police closing the street for safety, and plenty of encouragement for people to do their best.
