Cicloturista de La Rioja 2026

The La Rioja Bike Experience is a three-stage mountain bike race held in Logroño, within Spain’s La Rioja region. Participants will cover 148.9 kilometers in total, with 3,971 meters of elevation gain. The event is condensed in distance but significant in its climbing challenges. It takes place over three days in May, utilizing cross-country formats instead of a single, long road-style course. The first stage measures 26.6 kilometers, beginning on Calle Serradero and concluding on Calle Alemania, featuring 604 meters of climbing. The second stage is the most demanding, covering 65.2 kilometers with 1,939 meters of ascent. It holds a UCI C2 XCM classification and starts and finishes at the Palacio de Deportes de La Rioja. The final stage also begins and ends at the Palacio de Deportes, adding 51.4 kilometers and 1,200 meters of climbing to conclude the race.
