O tomto preteku
The Cabbage Patch 10 is a 10-mile race in Twickenham, beginning at 9:00 AM from Church Street near the Cabbage Patch Pub. It is one of the flattest 10-mile races in the country, attracting runners aiming for a fast time and those moving up from shorter road races.
The route loops around the Thames, utilizing roads and towpaths, crossing the river at Kingston and Richmond, and concluding at York House in Twickenham. Elite athletes, club runners, and local runners participate; Mo Farah won it before becoming well-known. The race is nearly as old as the London Marathon, contributes funds to local charities, receives support from nearby businesses and residents, and awards winners a cabbage alongside standard prizes.
