Tanúhegyek Trail 38 km

Badacsony defines this trail race, with the Balaton Uplands National Park providing the setting. Tanúhegyek Trail is an off-road event organized by Terepfutó Műhely Sportegyesület, focused on summiting witness hills in a prime section of the park. From these heights, runners are treated to "dazzling views over Lake Balaton" and the Balaton Uplands "glowing in autumn colors," a fitting reward after a strenuous ascent. The start and finish are located at Halászkert in Badacsonytomaj, establishing a central point for the event. The course features trail surfaces, consistent hill repeats, and the characteristic witness hills, dictating a rhythm of climb, scenic overlook, descent, and repetition. A dog-friendly option is available on the shortest route. A notable detail is that the timing chip deposit can be given to support the Üröm Animal Shelter.
