The full marathon covers 42 km, and the event is intended to be accessible for various runners, including those seeking a social run rather than a competitive one. The route traces the Nagara River near Gifu Castle before ascending the Mount Kinka Drive Course, located south of Mount Kinka (329 meters). From the observation park on this drive, participants can view central Gifu, Mount Ibuki, and the Nobi Plain. The full course incorporates the Nagara River Promenade, Ukai Bridge, Iwato Tunnel, Iwato Park, Gifu Park, the ukai boarding area, and river roads on both banks. The half marathon follows a condensed path through Gifu Park, the Mount Kinka Drive Course, Iwato Park, and the left-bank river road. As there are no road closures, runners must adhere to traffic signals, utilize sidewalks when present, and follow staff directions, with personnel stationed at complex junctions and sections lacking sidewalks. Participant accounts note aid stations, dynamic course markers, a checkpoint at the second aid station, attendees from distant locations, and a participation gift personalized with each runner’s name.

Tahara Komuten recorded the leading time of 1:03:59, followed by TT Runners and Team Goyer Aqua Vita.

The half marathon has a 2 hour 45 minute time limit. The shorter races are suitable for schoolchildren, newer runners, and those seeking a local fun run. The course traces the Mase River, featuring mountain scenery and cool autumn air instead of urban congestion. The half, quarter, and mini marathon events include age divisions for both men and women. The 2.1 km mini half is open to all participants without age restrictions. All finishers get a certificate, and top finishers in each division receive awards. The event also recognizes runners with 10, 20, 30, or 40 consecutive appearances. Shuttle buses are available from Hida Kanayama Station. Note that the station does not accept IC cards, credit cards, or electronic payments; cash is required.

Miestni bežia Nagoyu cez parky a popri riekach, pričom si držia tempo na rovných mestských okruhoch. V Meijo Parku máš 1km dráhu s označenými vzdialenosťami, takže intervaly sú v pohode a bez zbytočného stresu. Tsuruma Park ponúka mestským bežcom 2km cestičku s tieňom, fontánami a jazierkami. V Tsuruma Parku sú aj 3km trasy, ktoré sa krútia celým areálom. Heiwa Park má zase trať Inchimanpo course, keď chceš potrénovať výdrž. A takou miestnou hlavnou udalosťou je 第6回ランニング&ビーフフェスタin段戸山.

Miestni jazdia, lebo Nagoya je v strede krajiny, takže vyraziť za dobrodružstvom je fakt ľahké. Culture Club organizuje lekcie cyklo-mechaniky, rôzne akcie a spoločné jazdy, a Circles s Kato Cycle sa starajú o to, aby cestní aj MTB cyklisti mali všetko, čo potrebujú. Trasa Nagoya - Gifu má 5 km a nastúpaš 664 m, zatiaľ čo trasa Nagoya - Yokkaichi je rovinnejšia, má 44 km s 10 m prevýšením. Keď chceš menej áut a krajšiu scenériu, tak Kasugai popri Shonai River do Ena je tá správna voľba. Mount Norikura ti ponúkne poriadny kopec, 17 kilometers až do 2,712 meters. Nagoyké letá sú horúce, vlhké a daždivé, viac než zimy, takže miestni sa spoliehajú na tieň v Meijo Parku, stabilné cestičky v Tsuruma Parku a skoršie štarty na intervaly. Mount Norikura môže v auguste kolísať od 30C na úpätí po 3C na vrchole, takže cyklisti sa balia, ako keby išlo o život. Nagoyké zimy sú chladné a oba športy sa presúvajú k stabilnejšiemu Z2, okruhom v parkoch, cestičkám popri riekach a celkovo menej drámy.
