The Coupe du Japon Misaka International is a mountain bike race held at Eco Pia no Mori in Fukasaka, Shimonoseki City, Yamaguchi Prefecture. It is part of the Coupe du Japon series and is designated as a UCI Class 3 cross-country event, allowing participants to accumulate points towards their world rankings. The competition features Cross-country Olympic racing over a roughly 4-kilometer lap and Cross-country Short Circuit racing on a nearly 2-kilometer course, with the short race concluding in approximately 20 minutes.
The event caters to various rider types rather than a single main race. Elite men and the combined women's field compete in XCC, with the top 24 riders earning automatic qualification for the start. The XC100 endurance race, determined by laps completed within 100 minutes, offers solo, pair, and e-bike solo categories. A Kids Challenge is organized for younger participants, featuring a lap race divided by age groups from preschool to sixth grade. Standard Coupe du Japon participants require Japan Cycling Federation and team registration, while open categories, XC100, and the Kids Challenge provide entry options for less formally affiliated racers.
