Biegi Gminy Porąbka

Biegi Gminy Porąbka is a local running event in Czaniec, Porąbka Commune, held at LKS Czaniec on Zagłębocze Street. The main event is the Czaniecka Piątka, a 5 km race, which shares its program with children’s races and a free family run. Scheduled for June, the event is designed for local runners, families, and those participating in a community charity day, not exclusively for competitive racers. The 5 km course follows marked asphalt and gravel roads through Czaniec, with some parts open to traffic. The main race features electronic chip timing, a 300-participant limit, age categories starting from 16, and a special classification for Porąbka Commune residents. All entry fees from the main race are donated to charity for Tymoteusz Kudzia; the children’s races and family run are free. Participants get water and commemorative medals. Organizers particularly welcome uniformed services and medical workers.
