Cycling is equally serious — the Cape Town Cycle Tour (~109km) is the world's largest timed road race, the Absa Cape Epic is mountain biking's premier stage race, and the 94.7 Cycle Challenge anchors Johannesburg. Triathlon runs on IRONMAN South Africa in Gqeberha (Port Elizabeth) and 70.3 races in Durban and Mossel Bay.
