Changing Lives in the 915 is an El Paso charity event held in October, featuring an 8K run, a 5K run, and a 1-mile walk. Stateline Run je ranný 5K beh, ktorý sa koná v sobotu v Santa Teresa, New Mexico. Alebo si tam môžeš dať aj 1-míľovú prechádzku. Štart je o 8:00 ráno a celý pretek má štart aj cieľ pri Saint John Paul II Parish na McNutt Road. Je to super, lebo štart aj cieľ je na jednom mieste, takže žiadne zložité presuny a všetko máš pokope. Tento pretek je pre všetkých miestnych – bežcov, chodcov, rodiny aj tímy. Štartovné je znížené pre deti do 12 rokov a ak bežíte ako tím, zaplatíte rovnako ako dospelý jednotlivec. Prvých 200 prihlásených dostane tričko. V cieli na teba čaká voda, ovocie a nejaké to občerstvenie. Ceny za 5K beh dostanú prví traja muži a ženy celkovo, a tiež účastníci v rôznych vekových kategóriách – od detí až po seniorov.

Day of the Dead - Day 1 and Day 2 je víkendový pretek koncom októbra, čo sa koná na South End Trail Head v La Llorona Park v Las Cruces, New Mexico. Táto akcia je súčasťou Dead Running Series. Oba dni sú pripravené trate od 5K a 10K až po half marathon, marathon, 50K, 100K a 100 miler. Všetky preteky začínajú o 7:00 AM, s voliteľným štartom o 6:00 AM pre tých, čo bežia half marathon a dlhšie trate. Občerstvovačky majú bohatý výber jedla a pitia a fľaše s vodou si môžeš doplniť pri špeciálnom stole. Každý účastník dostane tričko a každý, kto dobehne, získa medailu za každý deň. Kto zvládne back-to-back 50K, 100K alebo 100-mile preteky, dostane špeciálnu Day of the Dead belt buckle a medailu.

The Annual Miner Dash & Family Fitness Fiesta is a community race and fitness event at UTEP, featuring a 5K run and a 3K walk on the university campus. Organized by UTEP’s Department of Kinesiology, its purpose is tied directly to healthy living, not just finish times. The routes traverse the UTEP campus, where the Bhutanese-style architecture provides a distinct setting beyond a standard road loop. Participants of all ages, including runners, walkers, and wheelchair users, are welcome, making the event suitable for families and community members as well as competitive racers. Event proceeds benefit programs developed by the UTEP Kinesiology Department.

The Flying Horse Half Marathon, 10K & 5K begins and ends at Sunland Park Racetrack & Casino in Sunland Park, New Mexico. The event includes three main race distances and a Giddy Up Fun Run, with all races commencing in the morning and concluding by noon. United Way of El Paso County presents the event, sponsored by the City of Sunland Park, and Race El Paso manages the local race production. The course takes participants onto Sunland Park trails, offering expansive New Mexico vistas before returning to the racetrack and casino. The event is designed for a diverse group, including novice runners, seasoned athletes aiming for personal bests, families, and children participating in the Fun Run on the racetrack. The initial 600 registrants will receive technical shirts and race merchandise. Race El Paso's background in organizing events has helped numerous individuals complete their first race in the El Paso area.

UP AND RUNNING Jingle Bell 5K Run/walk je decembrová ranná 5K v El Paso. Štart aj cieľ je pri Up and Running na North Mesa. Môžu sa zúčastniť bežci aj chodci, štart je o 8:30 ráno MST a má to takú sviatočnú atmosféru, keďže je to krátka a dostupná trať. V cieli na teba čakajú tamales a horúca čokoláda. Ocenenia sú pre prvých troch mužov a ženy celkovo, najväčší tím dostane trofej a medaily sa rozdávajú vo vekových kategóriách od 9 rokov a mladších až po 80 a starších. Prvých 600 registrovaných účastníkov dostane technické tričko s dlhým rukávom a výťažok ide na podporu Coach Nathan Casillas Cross Country Fund.

State 47 Las Cruces Marathon štartuje a končí na Field of Dreams v Las Cruces, New Mexico. Miesto pretekov je asi 3,900 feet nad morom. Tento pretek je súčasťou zimnej pretekovej série, kde je USATF-certified marathon, s ktorým sa dá kvalifikovať na Boston. Je tam aj USATF-certified half marathon, 4-členná štafeta, 4.7K beh/chôdza a .47-mile detský mini beh. Téma je spojená s tým, že New Mexico je 47. štát, a to ovplyvňuje aj kratšie trate s číslom 47. Trať sa kľukatí oblasťou Las Cruces, prechádza okolo pekanových sadov s výhľadmi na Organ Mountains a Rio Grande River v diaľke. Podujatie organizuje Wanderlust Running, a už viackrát po sebe bolo vypredané, pričom prilákalo účastníkov zo všetkých 50 štátov a 8 krajín. Bežci dostanú chip timing, originálne finisherské medaily, fotky od profíkov zadarmo, ceny s lokálnou tematikou a custom age-group ocenenia. Maratón má časový limit 8 hodín, s možnosťou Early Bird štartu pre tých, čo potrebujú viac času, aj keď táto vlna nemá nárok na ocenenia.

The Sombra Antigua Wine Run 5k is a timed 5k run/walk held at Sombra Antigua Vineyard and Winery in Anthony, New Mexico, near the Village of Chamberino off Scenic Highway 28. It begins at 11:00 AM Mountain time and is designed for runners, walkers, and wine drinkers who share the same short course, rather than exclusively for a fast field. The route utilizes the vineyard and winery setting as its primary attraction, with the race starting and finishing at 430 La Vina Road. J3 Timing provides chip timing and online results, and age-group awards will be presented. Registration includes a soft ring-spun cotton shirt, a portable shatterproof wine glass, a finisher medal that doubles as a wine stopper, a race bib, and a pour of wine after the 5k. Nik’s Wish is the local charity partner, and volunteers can register at a reduced race fee.

Cupid's Chase 5K El Paso runs from McKelligon Canyon Amphitheatre on McKelligon Canyon Road, with check-in at 7:00 AM and the race start at 9:00 AM. It is a certified 5K with professional timing, immediate results, and a rain-or-shine setup. The race is part of a national February series tied to Valentine's season and the founding of Community Options, with money raised for housing and employment opportunities for people with disabilities. The El Paso race is built for more than fast runners: walkers, wheelchair participants, families with strollers, sponsors, and leashed pets can all join. The Cupid theme shows up in the registration colors, with white for single participants and red for taken ones. Awards go to the top three overall men and women, and age-group medals cover 14 divisions from 12-and-under through 70-and-over. Finishers may receive a Cupid's Chase medal and drawstring bag while supplies last.

Účastníci prišli skoro z každého štátu USA, a k tomu aj medzinárodní bežci z krajín ako Mexiko a Francúzsko.
