Krug Castle Challenge je charitatívny beh s hradnou tematikou, ktorý sa koná v Krug Parku v Saint Joseph, Missouri. Zaujímavé je, že ten "Kinda 5k" pozostáva z troch okruhov, čo je dokopy 4.08 míle. Okruhy sa behajú v parku, pričom na každý okruh máš 20 minút a musíš dokončiť jeden, kým začneš ďalší. Tie klasické trate na 1 míľu, 5k a 10k nie sú merané, lebo hlavným cieľom akcie je vyzbierať peniaze.
Charakter pretekov dosť určuje samotný park. Krug Park je najstarší park v Saint Joseph; Henry Krug ho pôvodne daroval na verejné účely, ale s konkrétnymi obmedzeniami proti alkoholu a hazardu. Trať je osvetlená a podľa sezóny tam môžu byť aj vianočné svetlá. Radia ti zobrať si čelovku alebo nejaké iné svetlo na telo, ak predpokladáš, že budeš na trati po zotmení. Kto dokončí 5k alebo 10k, dostane pamätnú medailu, a ak dáš viac ako 10k, môžeš získať challenge medailu.
