Building Hope 5K: Run/Walk 2026

The Building Hope 5K: Run/Walk is a community 5K held at LindenPointe in Hermitage, Pennsylvania. This is the event's second year and it benefits Building of Hope Ministry, an organization that provides beds, bedding, pillows, and daily necessities to individuals in Mercer County. A Kids Fun Run is also offered for children 12 and under, with participation awards for all. The 5K course consists of roadway and paved trail sections, making it accessible for runners and walkers. Awards are given to the top three finishers in each age category, ranging from 14-and-under to 70-plus. The overall male and female winners will each receive a gift card and medal. Local vendors, such as the Sips n Spurs coffee truck and Kona Ice, will be present, contributing to a local neighborhood feel.
