Peach Week Fun Run 2026

The Peach Week Fun Run is a 5K run-or-walk in the Pinehurst, Southern Pines, and Aberdeen area, held during Peach Week as an evening community event. Entry is $25 for adults and $5 for children 13 and under, with all proceeds going to the FirstHealth Cancer Care Fund. The race is organized with local partners including the area convention and visitors bureau, Double Eagle Golf Carts, and FirstHealth Fitness. The route is a 5K, so participants cover 3.1 miles at whatever pace fits them, from running to walking with Clara’s House staff members. Participants are encouraged to wear peach-colored outfits in honor of loved ones, and finish-line extras include ice cream from Stellar Scoops, healthy snacks, a water bottle, stickers, and giveaways. The Cancer CARE Fund helps local cancer patients and families with practical needs such as transportation, gas, wigs, medicine, support groups, nutrition, and dental care.
