RUN Liberty 2027

RUN Liberty begins and ends at William Jewell College in Liberty, Missouri. Runners and walkers can select a half marathon, 10K, 5K, or a Kids Run for ages 3 to 10. The event occurs each spring and is the Northland's largest running series. It is presented by the City of Liberty and the Liberty Hospital Foundation, with Visit Liberty, MO as a partner and title sponsor for the half marathon. The route crosses downtown Liberty before returning to the college, connecting the race closely to the town instead of being a closed-off park run. Big River Race Management provides chip timing. Participants receive personalized bibs, free race photos, large finisher medals, and race shirts; half marathoners get long sleeves, while 10K and 5K runners receive short sleeves. Post-race amenities include 3Halves Craft beer, sponsor discounts, and giveaways. Entry fees benefit the Liberty Hospital Foundation, with funds directed toward health, education, and wellness initiatives within the Liberty Hospital community.
