Sidewinder 2026

This course delivers typical Western PA trail conditions: twisty dirt singletrack with plenty of roots, windy switchbacks, and rocky sections. Start with a downhill section connecting to a wooden boardwalk. The "Orbit" loop around Montour Woods will take you through the reclaimed concrete clearing of the old Nike missile site to a scenic stretch beside Meeks Run with a waterfall and a hidden trail secret cave. You'll wind up and down the mountain, passing an old oil well, before finishing strong, perhaps with an uphill push. It's the first ever Sidewinder.
