Maratona Reale - Una Corsa da Re

Una Corsa da Re is a race weekend held in Venaria Reale, utilizing the grounds of the Royal Palace instead of typical city streets. Participants can select from multiple distances. Competitive races include a marathon, half marathon, and a 1 km event. Non-competitive options feature a 10 km and a half marathon. Additional routes offered in other editions are 4 km, 10 km, 21 km, and 30 km. Base Running organizes the event, attracting thousands of participants. The courses traverse the Gardens of the Royal Palace, La Mandria Park, and the historic center of Venaria Reale, transitioning between palace parkland, green areas, and old-town streets. The children's event, La Corsa del Principino, is designed for ages 0 to 10 and takes place in the Gran Parterre of the Reggia di Venaria. This race program unites competitive runners, recreational runners, and families over the same weekend.
