River Torrens Running Festival

The River Torrens Running Festival begins and ends at Drage Reserve in Felixstow, located on Adelaide's north-eastern edge. This riverside event offers a half marathon, 10 km, 5 km, and a 2 km Family Dash. This setup accommodates individuals aiming for a fast time, children completing a short distance, and families seeking a relaxed outing on the same morning. The courses follow the paths alongside the River Torrens, featuring flat, quick terrain with less congestion than a downtown road race. The straightforward path allows for maintaining a consistent pace, suitable for both personal best attempts and leisurely runs. Drage Reserve parkrun assists in hosting, with volunteers encouraging participants along the way. All finishers are awarded a River Torrens-themed medal, refreshments, items from sponsors, and an online certificate.
