Tour de Žídelná 2026

The Direct Znojmo Burčák Tour, a Kolo pro život cycling event, takes place in Znojmo during early September, centered on Moravian wine country cycling and the local burčák season. The main race begins on Masaryk Square, with the event hub and finish located at Loucký Monastery. Participants can select mountain bike, gravel, or e-bike categories. Children’s races and a family ride extend the event into a full weekend for a broad range of participants. The B route covers 50 km with 874 m of elevation gain, and the C route is 32 km with 516 m. E-bike versions are available for both, alongside a gravel-series option on the 50 km course. The family ride spans 22 km with 277 m of climbing and has a three-hour time limit. Hundreds of cyclists and families attend for the combination of racing, leisure rides, and children’s activities, concluding with young wine and an evening cimbalom performance. Organizers have a contingency plan for inclement weather.
