Deerns op 't rad is an annual women’s cycling ride starting from the ASV club building on Rietmolenseweg in Eibergen. It is organized by the women’s group of Tourclub Eibergen. Riders depart in the morning between 9:00 and 10:00. The event is for women who enjoy cycling, not a competitive race. Road riders follow a longer route, while gravel, mountain bike, regular bike, and e-bike riders have a shorter mixed-surface option.
The road routes measure approximately 65, 80, or 100 km, varying by edition. GPX files are provided for at least one longer route. A 9:30 group start is available for those preferring company, averaging about 26 km/h. The longer road routes extend into Germany, passing Stadtlohn and Ahaus, and sites like the Schweinesee and Wacholderheide, before returning via the Haaksbergen watermill. The 45 km marked route follows paved and unpaved paths towards Vreden and Lunten, then returns through the Haakbergse veen. A refreshment stop is provided on the route. The entry fee covers food and drinks at the finish, which may include a hamburger, soup, or a sandwich, depending on the edition.
