MeinRide begins and ends at RugbyClub De Bokkerijders in Roermond, situated on the Dutch side of Nationaal Park De Meinweg. This is a supported gravel cycling challenge in Limburg, offering route options of 58, 84, or 129 km, scheduled for late May. The ride is designed for gravel cyclists seeking a cross-border excursion through wooded terrain, rather than a closed-road race. Organizers refer to it as “the gravel ride of Limburg.”
The routes consist entirely of gravel paths, crossing De Meinweg, the adjacent Limburg countryside, and extending into Germany. Participants will encounter genuine gravel trails, brief ascents and descents, forests, heathlands, secluded lakes, and the distinctive border-region atmosphere. GPX files will be provided for navigation. Support includes guarded parking near the start and finish, secure bike parking, pre-ride coffee and snacks, a staffed rest stop, and a post-ride gathering with a hamburger and specialty beer. Now in its third edition, the event has established a distinct character centered on De Meinweg’s rugged paths and its Dutch-German location.
