BK Gravel, the Belgian Gravel Championship, takes place in Grobbendonk, with the start and finish located in the same Kempen town. This is an open championship, allowing recreational riders and licensed racers from Belgium and abroad to compete. However, only riders holding a Belgian competition license are eligible to win the national title.
The course consists of a loop approximately 50 km long, utilizing Grobbendonk's gravel roads. Participants will encounter the characteristic Kempen terrain: sandy paths, more rugged gravel tracks, and swift off-road segments suited to the open, loose style of gravel racing.
