Grand Raid Godefroy

Grand Raid Godefroy is a mountain-bike race weekend based in Bouillon, in Belgium’s Luxembourg region, on the second weekend of September. The event has welcomed riders for 25 years and is built around off-road racing, with the GRG Enduro, the GRG Marathon, and a 15 km Enduro Kids race for younger riders. The marathon offers 50 km, 80 km, and 120 km choices, while the wider weekend also includes gravel routes from 60 to 110 km and road-bike routes from 40 to 120 km. The Enduro is the technical side of the weekend: 40 km, seven timed special stages, and more than 1,400 m of climbing. Its route uses centuries-old paths around Bouillon, with roots, natural obstacles, varied ground, hard descents, and viewpoints over the region. The kids’ enduro has three special stages around Bouillon and 500 m of elevation gain. Riders start the marathon from Parc des Sépulcrines on Quai des Saulx, and the event includes a post-race Pasta Party plus a participant T-shirt for the first 750 registrants; there is no on-site registration.
